You transferred crypto to Binance, checked the blockchain explorer, and the hash shows confirmed — but your Binance account has nothing. While stressful, most cases have solutions.

Verify On-Chain Status First

Check your TxID on the corresponding explorer: TRC20 → Tronscan, ERC20 → Etherscan, BEP20 → BscScan, BTC → Blockchain.com. Focus on: Is the status "Success"? Is the confirmation count sufficient?

If you need to verify your setup, register on Binance to ensure you're on the official platform.

Insufficient Confirmations

Most common cause. Different coins need different confirmation counts (ETH: 12, BTC: 1, etc.). Just wait — it'll auto-credit once the count is met.

Wrong Address or Network

Second most common and more problematic. If you selected TRC20 in Binance but sent via ERC20, the funds went to the wrong place. Compare your sending network with what Binance's deposit page shows.

Token Mismatch

Some tokens have same-name versions on different chains with different contract addresses. Even if the transaction succeeded on-chain, Binance won't auto-credit if the contract doesn't match.

Wallet Maintenance

Check the Binance app deposit page for maintenance notices. Deposits during maintenance are usually auto-credited once maintenance ends.

Below Minimum Amount

Each coin has a minimum deposit threshold. Below this, deposits won't be credited or refunded.

How to Handle Each Situation

Confirmations met, address correct: Likely internal delay. Check deposit records → if no record after 30+ minutes, submit a ticket with TxID. Wrong network: Contact support for recovery — BSC/ETH mix-ups are usually recoverable; TRC20/ERC20 is harder; completely different chains may be unrecoverable. Contract mismatch: Contact support with complete transaction info.

Prevention

Always double-check the network before sending. Test with small amounts first. Save every TxID.

Security Reminder

Contact support only through Binance official channels. Anyone asking you to "send another payment to verify" is a scammer. Use the Binance app for official support access.
